The meeting, written down once

Every meeting worth holding produces two pieces of paper. The agenda goes out before: what will be discussed, in what order, for how long. The minutes go out after: what was decided, and who owes what by when. Most offices write them as two separate Word files, and the second one gets written from memory, late, or not at all.

This page keeps one record. Build the agenda and print it. Run the meeting from it. Then flip the toggle: every numbered item is already there, and each one gains room for the discussion note, the decision, and the actions. The minutes end with an action register, every action with an owner and a due date in one place, because that table is the only part of the minutes anyone reads twice.

Nothing here leaves this tab. The record is saved to this browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose it, and the finished pages go only where you print, save, or paste them.

Questions this tool gets asked

What goes in meeting minutes?
The essentials a reader needs a year later: the meeting title, date and time, who attended and who sent apologies, each agenda item with the decision reached, and the actions with an owner and a due date. Minutes are a record of outcomes, not a transcript. If nothing was decided and no action was set, one line saying the item was discussed is enough.
What is the standard format for minutes of a meeting?
A header with the meeting title, date, time, and location; an attendance list with apologies noted; the items in agenda order, each with a short discussion note, the decision, and any actions; then an action register at the end listing every action, owner, and due date in one place. That is the format this tool prints, and it is the one boards and auditors expect.
How do I write meeting minutes fast?
Start from the agenda instead of a blank page. Circulate the agenda from this tool, then flip it to minutes mode during the meeting: every item is already numbered and titled, so you only add the decision and the actions as they happen. Most items need one line. The minutes are finished when the meeting is.
What is the difference between an agenda and minutes?
The agenda is written before the meeting and says what will be discussed, in what order, and for how long. The minutes are written after it and say what actually happened: who was there, what was decided, and who owes what by when. They share one skeleton, which is why this tool builds both from the same record.
Can the same page produce both the agenda and the minutes?
Yes, that is the point. Build the agenda, print it, run the meeting. Then flip the toggle to minutes: the items, owners, and attendees carry over, and each item gains room for the discussion note, the decision, and the actions. The agenda circulated on Monday becomes the minutes sent on Tuesday, with nothing retyped.
Is anything I type here uploaded?
No. The record lives in this browser tab and is saved to this browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose it. Nothing is sent to a server. The only places the agenda or the minutes go are your printer, your clipboard, or the PDF you save.
