What is a closing binder?
The permanent record of a completed deal: every executed document - purchase agreement, disclosure schedules, resolutions, certificates, legal opinions - organized behind numbered tabs with an index at the front. Historically it was a physical ring binder sent to every party after closing; today it is a single organized PDF. Assembling it is one of the last, most tedious jobs of a transaction.
How do I make a closing binder as a PDF?

Are the deal documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Executed deal documents are as confidential as paper gets, so the assembly runs entirely in your browser using an open-source PDF engine loaded with the page. Attachments are held in this browser's local storage and survive a reload, but they are never sent to any server - there is no server to send them to.
Does the index show the right page numbers?
Yes. The tool counts the pages of every attached document and computes where each tab's papers begin - cover, index, then each tab's divider and documents in order. The index prints those start pages, every page of the binder is numbered, and reordering a tab or a document recomputes the whole index.
Can I include scanned signature pages as images?
Yes. Alongside PDFs you can attach PNG or JPG images - a scanned execution page, an exhibit photo - and each is placed as a fitted page in the binder. If a PDF is encrypted or damaged the tool names it and skips it rather than producing a silently incomplete binder.
Is this a free alternative to closing binder software?
For assembling the binder itself, yes.
