The page that says who is writing

A letterhead is the oldest piece of identity a business owns: the sheet that speaks before the first sentence does. Name, address, phone, a mark if you have one. A letter on plain paper is a note; the same letter on letterhead is the company talking.

The template sites all sell the same thing: a .docx download that still needs Word, the right fonts, and an afternoon. This page skips the download entirely and builds the finished sheet in the tab. Type the identity once, pick one of four styles, then write the actual document on it - a business letter, a memo, a notice, a fax cover sheet, or a blank sheet for the drawer. What comes out of the printer is the product.

Nothing here leaves this tab. The logo is read from your disk locally, the draft lives in this browser's local storage, and the sheet goes only where you print it.

Questions this tool gets asked

What goes on a letterhead?
The identity of the sender, arranged so the page speaks before the first line is read: company name, a logo if you have one, the street address, phone, email, and website. Some firms add a tagline. Everything else on the page is the document itself; the letterhead's whole job is to say who is writing.
What is the correct letterhead format?
There is no single law, only conventions. The classic format centers the name and contact details at the top over a rule. Modern layouts push the identity to the left beside a vertical rule, run it as a colored top bar, or keep the top nearly bare and carry the details in the footer. This tool builds all four; pick the one that fits the document you are sending.
How do I make a letterhead without Word?
Right here. The template sites hand you a .docx file that still needs Word, the right fonts, and half an hour of fiddling. This page builds the finished sheet in your browser tab: type the identity once, pick a style, write the letter, memo, notice, or fax cover on it, and print. The printed page or saved PDF is the product; there is no template to download.
Is my logo or anything I type uploaded?
No. The logo is read from your disk straight into the browser tab and never leaves it. The text lives in this browser's local storage so the sheet is still here tomorrow. The only machine that ever sees your finished letterhead is your printer.
Can I write a memo or fax cover sheet on the letterhead?
Yes. One identity block carries five documents: a business letter, a memo, a notice, a fax cover sheet, and a blank letterhead sheet. Switch the document type and the letterhead stays put while the fields change underneath it.
Can I print blank letterhead sheets to use later?
Yes. Pick the blank sheet, choose whether you want a ruled body area for handwriting, and print as many copies as you need. Offices always kept a drawer of blank letterhead; this is the same drawer without the print shop.
